Can You IMAGINE You? In this book, we are exploring different careers and encouraging our readers to begin, even at their age, to visualize themselves as who they want to be in life. Whether they choose to be a doctor or even a farmer, we encourage knowing and seeing themselves LITERALLY as these potential roles! Making it more fun for the reader, we placed mirrors on each page so that they can truly envision themselves clearly in each career. Also, to make things more plain, we gave the reader facts about the career that they might choose to specialize in because not only do we feel it?s important for them to see themselves in the place they want to be in life, but it is also important to understand the work that goes into the job...

  • Can You Imagine?

Donald Holt, Jo Billups, Karen Harvill

    (, March 23, 2020)
The poem "Can You Imagine?" was written by Donald Holt, a British poet with a deep love for nature. Much of his poetry is devoted to environmental themes. In this book, his poem has been beautifully illustrated by Karen Harvill, a freelance wildlife artist and musician who lives on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Included is the "Earth Science Addendum" by Jo Billups. Ms. Billups is an environmental educator and musician who uses music and storytelling as an integral part of her work with children. She lives in Lillian, Alabama, and is the founder of the ABCs of Ecology and author of several children's books. The "Earth Science Addendum" provides information on beaches, water, grasslands, clean air, forests and recycling, and what we can do to help protect all of our natural resources.
